Green Turtle Bay Marina – Grand Rivers, KY
Green Turtle Bay was seen as the place to get to be out of the rivers and the flooding situation that we all recently experienced. So for many of us it was a feeling of relief to be tied up in this Looper friendly marina.
Three days to clean the boat, change the oil, get excercise, swim in the beautiful new indoor pool, provision the boat, rest and socialize. We had breakfast with fellow Loopers we had just met, Mojo and Highlander along with our caravan buddies on Grettatude.
It was nice to sit in one place for three days but alas the water calls and we’re off for a weeks worth of anchorages on the fabulous Tennessee River.
I’m still reading your Great Story. I fast forwarded to Green Turtle Bay (Home of Emarald Dancer). The picture at the Yacht Sales Dock looked Familiar. I took the same picture! Me and my wife were sitting next to you at Dockers eating Breakfast. The guy with long hair sitting with wife. We were listening to The stories you guys were telling. Very entertaining. Now I’m reading it.
After Breakfast we took our Sea Ray 268 Sundancer Emarald Dancer out on Her Maiden Voyage! Had a great time. Boating and Patti’s every Weekend. That’s living! A ten year dream come true! New Dream The Great Loop.
Well back to reading.
